I have purchased a similar piece before. Never found the occasion to show it though.While the piece I got used hair pins as the little individual units strings up together, this piece improved on its raw-ness and second-handness by pressing the pinhead to raindrop shape flat head. In effect, it looks like a sunburst with symmetrical order and little fans waving to the audience. I like this rendering better. And the gold works well here. It's a letter upgrade from the one I bought.
